Still We Stand

These feelings burn inside.
These thoughts leave me with no place to hide.

If I can only see you, touch you..I would be happy again. Do you have any idea what you do to me? The way you make me feel. I finally open my eyes, take a breath and let it all out.

You make me want to be somebody beyond my power, that I know I can’t be. But for you, I can try my hardest. Just to please you, make you feel loved and let you know I’ll always be here.

Forever. Always. Never stopping, nothing to stand in my path of following you.

If you could only see the road ahead that we travel on, there is no end and no more beginning. We live in the moments that we have now, we make our own choices for the best or worst and that’s for us to decide.

We shall not ever again fake our memories.
We shall not ever again lie to our hearts.

For this is our life.

And we have to live it.
